A 'WALK-TO-TOWN' wonderland of overgrown cow pasture and Old Growth forest. The 'Old Edward's family homesite' land was purchased by C.B. Edwards from Sam Kelsey in 1878. The property remains owned by those heirs. Being 'Private Property' it was spared the cutting of Kelsey's Primeval Forest in 1946. Now, 144 years later, Turkey's Foot, Princess Pine, various mosses, and ferns still cover the gentle forest floor, animal paths lead here, there and everywhere.
