As a devoted wife to Pastor Timothy McQuitty and a loving mother to their five adult children, Dana has cherished the journey of homeschooling her kids, shaping them into law-abiding, tax-paying citizens who have embarked on diverse paths in music, information technology, marketing, sequential art, and military service.
For the past 15 years, Dana has called the beautiful Smokey Mountains her home. During this time, she has actively contributed to the community as an American Red Cross swim instructor, giving back to society through volunteering with the Little Tennessee Greenway and actively supporting the arts as part of the Smokey Mountain Performing Arts Center.
Dana's passion for education and her community led her to teach math for the Macon County Schools, further solidifying her connection with the residents and their needs.
Her father established his real estate career almost 40 years ago. With varied experiences in purchasing real estate
across North Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, Maryland, and Mississippi over the past 35 years.
