Canyon Kitchen at Lonesome Valley

Canyon Kitchen is in Sapphire and reservations for dinner are required. This open-air dining restaurant celebrates local ingredients and dishes are humble and luxurious. When you’re done, you can stroll through the gardens.

Buck’s Coffee Café

Buck’s Coffee Café is located next to Landmark’s vacation rental office in Cashiers. They sell art, jewelry, and there are places to sit and read, work or chat with your friends. They also make a delicious latte.

Cornucopia

Locals will tell you this place is amazing. The restaurant’s building was built in 1892, when the land was purchased for just $27. Before it was a restaurant, the building was a general store, tack office, post office and private dwelling.

El Manzanillo

There is a location in Cashiers and Highlands. If you’re craving tacos, salsa, or any other kind of Mexican food, this is the place to go. It’s so good, you’ll want to come here every taco night. 

The Orchard

Take in the atmosphere as you dine in a restored farmhouse with a beautiful orchard around you. Great for date nights, special occasions, or for when you’re craving some mouth-watering Southern-inspired American food.

Slab Town Pizza

Who can resist a solid slice of pizza? And when it’s with fresh toppings and homemade dough, it’s nearly impossible to say no.

The Ugly Dog Pub

Located in the heart of Cashiers, The Ugly Dog Pub is very dog-friendly. It also has fantastic food and a great atmosphere. You can’t go wrong with The Ugly Dog Pub. There is a location in Highlands and in Cashiers.

Whiteside Brewing Co.

Everyone loves a good brewpub, right? Relax with a local brew after work and on the weekends. Take family here when they visit from out of town. It’s all about good eats, a nice outdoor setting and local beers.

Cashiers Valley Smokehouse

If you’re looking for some good barbeque, you want to go to Cashiers Valley Smokehouse. Homemade sauces, home-cooked sides and good Carolina barbeque. Need we say more?

Chile Loco

This is another option for when you’re craving Mexican food. Taco Tuesday, anyone? Order your favorite dish, whether it’s a burrito, quesadilla, tacos, or something equally as delicious. Don’t forget the margaritas!

The Zookeeper Bistro

Lake Glenville

Lake Glenville gives you the best of both worlds. You can live up in the mountains on the highest lake east of the Mississippi River. The difference between them is that Lake Glenville is a public lake and Lake Toxaway is private. Lake Glenville is also bigger.
