A real estate professional since 1998, Wayne has established a well-known and positive reputation in the area, having listed and sold countless homes and properties over the years. Wayne first came to Cashiers in the summer of 1968 with his soon-to-be wife, after many summers of vacationing with his family at his wife Lynn's family home on Cashiers Lake. Wayne and his family permanently moved to Cashiers in 1989. Wayne's wife, a well-known interior designer and owner of Lynn Monday Home, also works on the Highlands-Cashiers Plateau and locations from Atlanta to New York to Canada. She published a coffee table lifestyle book Southern Mountain Living and continues to be featured in numerous magazines.
Wayne's love for the Cashiers and surrounding areas is apparent in the knowledge he shares in the community and with his clients. He has served as a board member of Fishes & Loaves, the Cashiers Community Council and the Hampton Learning Center. A U.S. Army veteran, Wayne, during the Vietnam War. His father, a World War II prisoner of war, taught him to "never take anything for granted." He takes that message to heart in cherishing his clients and friends he has made in real estate over the years.
