Ken is a North Carolina native, having lived in Charlotte most of his life. He attended UNC-Chapel Hill and is happy to share that he still loves the Tar Heels, even when they don’t win. After college, Ken signed on with a frozen food distributor and within 16 years worked his way from basic office work to General Manager of the Carolinas. After that, Ken worked for four years as Vice President with American Studios, owner-operators of all of the portrait studios in the Wal-Mart stores in North Carolina. This included over 2,500 locations at that time, gaining valuable experience as he managed their Customer Service, Communications and Wal-Mart Relations departments. When American Studios was acquired by PCA International (a competitor that ran the K-Mart Portrait Studios), he continued with them for another five years, adding Warehouse, Shipping and Receiving, and Facilities to his areas of responsibility. Ken left PCA 10 years ago and entered into the residential real estate area, building his real estate knowledge with Cottingham Chalk and Associates, and most recently with Keller Williams, both in Charlotte. For the last three years, Ken has been the listing agent for WCDM Development in Macon, GA for their Rosewood luxury condominium project in Charlotte. During his tenure with WCDM Development, Ken averaged 12 sales a year, each condo sale averaging $850,000. Ken joined the Landmark Team in January 2013 bringing a solid background in corporate management, real estate, and quality customer service, as well as leadership experience. His strong background and industry expertise helps us to further expand our market reach and enhance our commitment of excellent service to our clients.
