Growing up in the small town of Magnolia, Arkansas, Dan Doughty is a southern gentleman through and through. As he grew up, he was influenced heavily by his florist grandmother and carpenter grandfather; sparking a passion for building and designing beautiful things from a young age. This passion stays with him to this day. Dan carries his grandmother’s saying with him through his real estate career: “If you continue to make the right choices, you will get the right results.”    This is what Dan spends his time doing for his clients; trying to choose the right home for his buyers, or choosing the perfect marketing tactics to sell homes he has listed. After selling nearly 1,000 homes in his 20+ year real estate career, he’s become an expert at helping his clients make their own “right choices” to yield the results they desire. Dan’s real estate accomplishment list continues to grow, but his greatest is consistently securing his spot in the top 5-10% of Realtors on all three MLS boards he has been a part of throughout his career.    In 2019, Dan made the leap to join Mountain Life Properties team of Landmark Realty Group. The Mountain Life Team consists of five members: Doug Treadwell, Beverly Berkstresser, Heather Ball, John Sheehan and Dan Doughty. The team’s ability to compliment each member’s unique strengths in ways that reap even greater benefits for their clients is what makes the Mountain Life team the fastest growing real estate team on the Highlands-Cashiers Plateau.
